One year has passed since Boris Johnson announced that the country would enter a lockdown in attempt to contain the spread of coronavirus (covid-19). I think many would agree it would have been hard to believe back then, that we would find ourselves in a national lockdown twelve months on.
It has been an extremely difficult year with many challenges. Over 125,000 people have sadly lost their lives in the UK, with over 2.6 million worldwide.
In order to collectively reflect upon this past year which has been severely affected by the coronavirus pandemic, a National Day of Reflection on the 23rd of March will see the nation joining together to hold a one minute silence at 12pm.
NowThen Cleaners will be reflecting and thinking of all of those who have been affected.
We would also like to take this moment to appreciate every NowThen cleaning operative who has continued to carry out their vital work throughout. Thank you.
